First in Dorset. Now West Yorkshire - Mostly Halifax . . . Getting to know the place.
I love the hawthorn, it supports so many birds and insects.
Las imágenes otoñales siempre nos atraen por sus coloridosAbrazos
I also love hawthorns, for the shape of the leaves and for the swarms of birds that cover the tree in the late fall.
Well seen and captured
Hi Paul. I like the leaves best on the hawthorn. Sometimes both blossom and berries can be a little overwhelming.Hello Juan - and agreed. Summer has hard work to keep up with autumn when it comes to colour.Hello, Christine. Like you, I like the leaves. I've not been as aware as some others, I think, of the trees being more attractive to birds than the trees and bushes near them. I'll have to be more attentive and see which birds specially like eating the berries. Thanks, Deepak.
